Good morning, and Happy Thursday! We have our regular Christmas challenge at CRAFT Challenge . After all, Christmas is only 9 months away, and you'll feel ever so pleased with yourself for getting started early! We have two fab sponsors this week: Pickled Potpourri and Sunsational Stamps I used a very cute Penguin from Sunsational Stamps This is a 5" x 7" card. I printed the penguin 4 times, coloured them, and fussy cut them. I went round the cut edges with a black pen to hide any white bits where I didn't cut as accurately! I freehand cut two curved pieces of white card for snowbanks and added glitter. The background paper is from stash. I Stickled the fur trim on the penguins' hats in Baby Blue and Cotton Candy, and added them with foam tape. The sentiment is cut from silver mirri card with a Simon Says Stamp die. Have a look at what my teamies have made, then join in and make a Christmas card! It's never too early to start!! Than

Good afternoon, all! I hope you're all feeling good after a relaxing weekend! Our Challenge at Dream Valley is nice and straightforward - All About Birthdays . You can make anything as long as it's birthday-themed! Our sponsor this fortnight is the awesome Dies to Die For . Tracy is offering a £15.00 voucher to a lucky winner! For my card I used an old stamp by Elisabeth Bell for the sadly now closed Whiff of Joy. This is Willow Dancing. The papers are also very old! The ribbon came with a box of soaps at Christmas, it still smells lovely! Go and be inspired by my teamies' creations, and then join in! Thanks for looking! love Mags B x

Good morning! I hope your weekend is going swingingly! We have a lovely Challenge at My Time to Craft it's Flowers Very topical here in the Northern Hemisphere, where the Spring flowers are beginning to bloom; and also topical, I hope, in the Southern Hemisphere, where you'll be enjoying Autumn flowers! So we would like to see creations where the focal point is a Flower or Flowers. Just using a floral background paper doesn't cut it, I'm afraid!! My Flower is Fresh Freesia by Altenew, and the card was made for a special birthday for a lady at Church who loves freesias. The Flower Team made her a special arrangement, and the freesias smelled wonderful! I heat embossed the outline stamp on watercolour paper using Wow! Gold Pearl Embossing Powder, and Inktense Pencils and a water brush to colour it in. The sentiment on a strip of vellum was also embossed in the same Gold Pearl Embossing Powder; and finally I added some sequins from stash. I like the CAS loo
CRAFT Challenge DT #354 Easter/Spring

Good morning! Our Challenge this week at CRAFT Challenge is Easter/Spring - very topical! Our lovely sponsors are: Bugaboo Stamps Nikki Burnette I used a fairy image by Nikki Burnette called Lissa and made a Spring card. I didn't think it appropriate for Easter, since I'm a Christian; but I also love Fantasy fiction, so Lissa was fun to colour! In fact, I'm reading an Urban Fantasy series by Seanan McGuire that starts with Rosemary and Rue , highly recommended. Now for my card! I apologise for the naff photo, it was a grey morning! I used watercolours to paint her and covered her wings with Clear Wink of Stella. The sentiment is from an old set of stickers and I covered them with Diamond Stickles. Go and see the beautiful examples that my teamies have made to inspire you! Thanks for looking! love Mags B x

Good morning! And Happy Thursday! Great excitement here at the Manor, as our daughter had her second scan and her baby is a boy! He's due in July. She has already bought him three adorable onesies with dinosaurs on them! On to today's CRAFT Challenge which is a Sketch Our sponsors are: The fabulous Robyn's Fetish And the adorable All Dressed Up I used Love Birds from Robyn's Fetish - too cute! For the background I wove strips of 1 1/2 inch wide paper together. The heart die-cut mat is a Spellbinders die and the sentiment is an old one by Stampendous. I added Wink of Stella to the birds' hearts and to the boy's crest and the girl's bow. The heart gems are from stash, I coloured them with a red Copic to match the hearts on the image. Do go and see the gorgeous variations on the sketch that my teamies have created, and also have a look at a special offer from KennyK, 50% off two of their digis! Not bad, eh? Thanks for looking! lov
