My Time to Craft! #391 Pink and Girly

Image
Hi, guys! We have a gorgeous new Challenge at My Time to Craft - Pink and Girly! Today I have 2 CAS cards to share, both to the same design but with the papers reversed. Here is the second: Everything except the main sentiment, which is from an old Simon Says Stamp kit, came from the January 2019 kit by Love from Lizi.   I used Lizi's Silver Dollar embossing powder on the big sentiment. The bottom sentiments are both glittered stickers. I also used some silver glitter Peel-offs as a border between the two papers. Finally I added some pink Nuvo Drops. Take a look at my teamies' fab, girly creations, then get out all your pinkest craft supplies and join in!! Thanks for looking, and have a great weekend! love Mags B x

Dream Valley #196 Sparkle and Shine

Image
Hi, guys! I hope you're all keeping well! We have a new Challenge at Dream Valley and this time the theme is Sparkle and Shine . I have used one of my favourite images from our sponsor Oddball Art , this is Sid the Silly Seahorse and he's so cute! There is quite a lot of Sparkle and Shine here: the mats are made with glitter paper, the die-cut sentiment is made with satin-effect silver card, the bubbles around Sid have been stickled, and his glasses and fins have been covered with Glossy Accents! Go and see my teamies' gorgeous work, using more quirky images from our sponsor! Thanks for looking, and have a great week! love Mags B x

My Time to Craft! #390 Men Only

Image
Hi, guys! I hope you're all keeping well! We have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is Men Only. Yep, we're asking for those tricky cards for the Blokes! I have made a card for a boy. This is Fenton Frog by Sweet'n'Sassy stamps, he is so cute! ALL the papers and card (except the card base were made with Snippets from the scrap drawer! The sentiment came with the image and I cut it out and layered it onto a folded banner die-cut by Simon Says Stamp, using a scrap of green glittery card. I added green Nuvo Drops as an embellishment as well as two tiny green hearts on the banner. I am determined to make a real effort to use up snippets this year!! Go and see the fab work left on the Challenge blog by my teamies! Thanks for looking and have a great weekend! love Mags B x

The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge #44 Anything Christmas Goes

Image
Hello, my dearios! Doesn't it seem a long time since Christmas? Everything is back to the daily routine - cleaning, cooking, ironing, and tidying the craft hovel, in my case! However it is never too soon to start on Christmas cards, and The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge is here to help! This time the Challenge lasts until the 3rd of March, which gives you plenty of time to join in! I have used an old printed image (coloured by the amazingly talented Bev Rochester ) from Lili of the Valley and added Stickles here and there - in fact, I made 8 cards using various images and Christmas papers to the same design. Yes, one of my New Year's Resolutions is to USE STUFF UP! The paper is from an old Papermania pad, and the ribbon is from the Pinflair shop in Hertford - they have beautiful ribbons! I used a Love From Lizi die and gold card for the sentiment. Check out the creations my teamies have made on the blog, then put your Santa hat on and get Christmassy! Thanks...

Dream Valley #195 Love and Kisses

Image
Hi, guys, from a grey and drizzly Hertfordshire! We have a romantic new theme at Dream Valley - Love and Kisses. Just in time for St Valentine's Day!! Our lovely sponsor is Di's Digi Designs and a lucky winner can choose 3 of her sweet images. I have made a congratulations card for an engagement. I used both birds from the Woodware 'Love Birds' stamp set (which sadly seems to be out of print) and stamped them facing each other. I love the folk art 'vibe' and coloured them in lots of different Copic colours. I covered a die-cut pink heart with Spectrum Noir clear sparke pen and added Glossy Accents over the top. The hearts on the birds have also been sparkled! I layered papers from a very old magazine freebie, and then some pink card. The card base is 5 x 7 inches. I hope the ladies I made this for will like it! Go and see the romantic creations my teamies have left to inspire you and join in with the love!! Thanks for looking, and have a g...
