Dream Valley Challenge 42 GO PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Morning, all! If you're looking for The Squirrel and the Fox bloghop, please click here
This is going to be a loooong post, so grab a cuppa - or, if The sun's over the yardarm you may prefer a G and T!
The current theme at Dream Valley is 'Breast Cancer Awareness' so you need to THINK PINK! You can make anything, not necessarily papercrafts, as long as it fits the theme.
My card uses a gorgeous image by Krista Smith of Saturated Canary Isn't she lovely? She looks a bit like my adorable granddaughter! Krista also has a sweet new image, 'Butterfly Baby' and this week she is donating money from this image to a children's charity - there's a link in my sidebar.
I'm really pleased with the colouring on this one - Krista's images are a dream to colour! I used Promarkers (list below)and stickled the rose in her hair.
The papers are Nitwits, from the snippets box. (Hi, Di!) The gingham ribbon is from Hobbycraft. The flowers are all Wild Orchid Crafts. The leaves are punched with a Woodware Punch.
I used a Memory Box die and a Magnolia swirl die on pale green pearlised paper, and my lovely, tiny Marianne sentiment dies with a scrap of green glitter paper for the text.
The sketch is from last week's Sketch Saturday (obviously I'm too late for that challenge!) because it's lovely!
Go and have a dekko at my teamies' wonderful creations, and have a go yourselves. Just THINK PINK!
I need to apologise to you all for not visiting nearly as often as I'd like. It's been an awful week and next week will be almost as bad, I'm afraid. But, onwards and upwards, as my Grannie said!
Thanks so much for looking! Have a happy week!
much love, Mags B x
Promarkers and *Flexmarkers: Hot Pink, Carmine, Pastel Pink; Antique Pink, Cocktail Pink; Forest Green, Lush Green; Burnt Orange, Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush (colours suggested by the talented Debbi Glennie; *Blue Grey 2, *Blue Grey 4

Thanks for the kind comment on my blog, it is appreciated.
I am sorry that I've not been by and visited very often - it's all part of the problem of too much blogging to be done and not enough time to do it in!!!
Hope you had a lovely weekend,
Sarah
