Three Christmas Stockings all in a row!

Evening, all! (Are any of you guys old enough to remember a British tv series from the 60s called 'Dixon of Dock Green'? I was a mere kiddiewink in those days, I hasten to add! I suppose these days it would be called a 'police procedural.' Every programme began with PC Dixon touching his helmet and saying, 'Evening, all.' And at the end he gave a little moral talk and said 'Good night, all.')

I have a Christmas card here which was inspired by some Christmas chipboards that came with a magazine a couple of years ago. I was going to chuck them, but thought I'd give them one last chance to be useful. (Oo, I am so harsh!)

The card base is made with Centura Pearl and is American A2 in size. I sliced off half an inch at the front and added a snippet of green card, which I stamped with white ink and a Hero Arts polka dot background stamp, then I punched the edge with a Fiskars Scalloped Sentiment edge punch. The stockings have been given some glitter with a Wink of Stella pen.

Yes, this idea is totally inspired by Kristina Werner. I used the same stamp on the card base, but with Memento Pear Tart ink.

The patterned papers are from Dovecraft's back to Basics Christmas pack. The sentiment is by Clearly Besotted from their All Occasion Sentiments stamp set and I heat embossed it in white on another snippet of green card. I love the curly font! The baker's twine and ribbon are from stash.

I hope you are all having a good week!

Good night, all!

I've heard of this program, but it wasn't shown on our USA PBS - at least not in my area. Just love those Brit shows. I'm loving your stockings too. So cute, and the bakers twine was a beautiful way to hang these little sox. Just waiting to be filled. Pretty papers & a nifty layout too. TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs
