Dratted Word Verification.

Is Blogger playing the fool again? I keep getting WV when I try to comment on some blogs. I've checked my blog (in Settings) to make sure WV is turned off, which it is. Why can't Blogger, Facebook etc just leave us alone?!

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the blog that you are trying to leave comments on is the one that must have word verification turned off. It doesn't have anything to do with you who is leaving or wanting to leave the comments. If you are commenting, you might mention how much you hate that they have left the verification on and might not comment any longer on their blog if they don't remove it.

It could also be caused by making a lot of comments at one time. That's when I get it, during blog hops or if I'm way behind in my commenting and trying to play catch-up at one time. Try to space out your commenting and that will help. Best of luck to you!

No captcha here, but I was signed into Google. As I understand their new addition, if you are signed in you don't have to verify, but if you come from say a Wordpress account, or basically just don't have Google or Google + then it will make you verify everything. There were a lot of complaints on the Blogger forum when they changed it. I think it's to stop anonymous spammers commenting....... but setting up comment moderation on your blog prevents that. I would prefer to have the choice myself, not have Google dictate how my blogger settings work.

Hi Mags, I have checked my blog and WV is definitely switched off, I have never had it on, I think it is a problem with blogger, it appears on a lot of blogs I comment on but I just ignore it and it works OK!!!!
But it's definitely switched off on my blog...I checked, thanks.

Hi Mags I hope mine is back to normal now. I cleared everything, I don't have word verification on. I found when I did a lot of comments it turned ME into a Robot, so much so I stopped until the next day, when things got back to normal, UNTIL I did too many again LOL

Hi, guys! We have a new challenge at Dream Valley and it's to use yellow and black on your project. Our sponsor is the gorgeous All Dressed Up and Wendy kindly gave us a couple of her adorable images to use. I chose Magical Woodland it is so cute. The background is made with the Honeybee layering die set from Birch Press, and I used up scraps of orange, black and yellow card forthe die-cutting. My Time to Craft! #390 Men Only

Hi, guys! I hope you're all keeping well! We have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is Men Only. Yep, we're asking for those tricky cards for the Blokes! I have made a card for a boy. This is Fenton Frog by Sweet'n'Sassy stamps, he is so cute! ALL the papers and card (except the card base were made with Snippets from the scrap drawer! The sentiment came with the image and I cut it out and layered it onto a folded banner die-cut by Simon Says Stamp, using a scrap of green glittery card. I added green Nuvo Drops as an embellishment as well as two tiny green hearts on the banner. I am determined to make a real effort to use up snippets this year!! My Time to Craft #386 More Than One Fold - but not an easel!!

Hello, my lovelies! I hope you're all keeping well and keeping on top of all the Chrimbo shenanigans! To take your mind off things we have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is More Than One Fold But No Easels! I don't know about you, but an easel card is my default for more than one fold, so I was a bit anxious about this one. However, in the nick of time Jennifer McGuire posted a video on how to make a Double Z-fold card which fits the bill! This is the outside, which looks like an ordinary Z-fold, but when you open it..... I used a printed ready-made card base and stamped and embossed an old Hero Arts stamp across the internal section, masking areas for the sentiments. I coloured the flowers with Zig brush markers. The sentiments are stamped with gold Delicata ink. This was made for a birthday at the end of October, I am pleased to say that the recipient liked it!
