Dream Valley Challenge 24 - Animals.

Afternoon, all! I hope you're having a restful weekend!

It's Dream Valley time again, and our theme this fortnight is Animals. Our wonderful Melly is giving a surprise package as a prize for the winner!

So here's what I did:

I used one of the lovely Lili of the Valley ready coloured squares, so useful! The butterflies and roses have been stickled, though as usual the camera hasn't picked it up!

The bp is from the Snippets Box, it's Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose set of digipapers. So pretty! The ribbon is recycled from a box of chox, the punched butterflies are made with a scrap of wrapping paper. The flowers are Wild Orchid, and the sentiment is also LotV, stamped in Broken China Distress Ink.

I also decorated the inside:

The bp here is a patchwork, as I didn't quite have enough to cut one piece, but I stuck butterflies over the join near the fold, so it looks ok! The sentiment is Penny Black.

I'm entering Pixie's Crafty Snippets Challenge again, because I love it! The gang that meets in the playground is full of talented people! Very inspiring.

And the Dream Valley DT is also full of talented people, so go and take a look at their marvellous animal makes and enjoy the inspiration!

Thanks for looking!

Hi Mags - I love this, and can see the stickles :) The nose prints should be showing up on your side of the screen - after clicking on the image I then hit F11 and the image enlarges beautifully and all the detail is there to see. Hit F11 again to restore your toolbar :))

Back to the card, it's adorable (hurrah for LOTV cute squares) and all goes together so well. Smiled at the inside, which is lovely BTW, that's another stamp sitting here waiting to be inked up for the first time!

Glad you're enjoying 'the playground' - as you say, some really clever folk are hopping in and it's a good source of inspiration. Long may it continue.
