First Dream Valley Challenge of 2012 - Anything Goes!
Hi guys! I hope you're all settled into the New Year now that all the excitement is over! Welcome to the first Dream Valley Challenge of 2012, where Anything Goes!
Our first sponsor for 2012 is One Stop Card Crafts who are offering a £10 voucher for the store. There's a Clearance Sale on at the moment, too!
You don't have to make a card, either, just craft to your heart's content! We do ask that you submit no more than 3 times, and that you link to the Challenge blog. And no backlinking, please!!
Ok, you'll be astonished to know that I made a Baby Girl card to celebrate the arrival of my granddaughter Lillie!
The image is by Woodware, coloured in Promarkers - I forgot to write down which, but I think I used most of the pink range!! The bubbles, water and puddles have been stickled. The image and mat were cut with Go Kreate Frilly dies. The Wild Orchid Sweetheart flowers are popped on top of green flowers cut with a Magnolia Doohickey die to give the effect of leaves, and the card candy is (are?) stickers from Paperchase. The ribbon and bow are recycled from a present!
The paper is Pink Petticoat from my Snippets Box, so I'm entering Pixie's Crafty Snippets Challenge 2. Yes, Di has taken over the keys to the playground from Jules - and if you don't know what I'm talking about, skip across to Di's blog
Jules features as Top Blogger in this month's 'Quick Cards Made Easy' and it's thoroughly deserved!
I'm also entering my card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge, which is 'Anything Goes' with the option of 'Something New' - for instance, a new baby granddaughter lol!
Ok, enough waffle, Margaret! I hope you'll all hop across to Dream Valley and see the gorgeous makes from my dear teamies, you'll be inspired!
Thanks for looking!

A gorgeous card to celebrate the arrival of lovely Lillie.
Lots of lovely layers and such a stunning bow.
I don't think I would ever realistically be able to list what colour promarkers I use. By the time I have finished using them I feel like every pen I own is scattered across my workspace LOL!!!
Thank you for your lovely comment about QCME .. .. you made me blush!!
Have a great week.
Love Jules xx
