Dream Valley Challenge 47 - Christmas!
Yes, it's time for the last Dream Valley Challenge of 2012! Because it's such a busy time of year, this challenge is open for an entire month. The theme is Christmas and we have Four Sponsors offering prizes!!!
Well, I thought I'd do something a little different, so here are some tags. They're really quick and easy, which is a good thing because I need 27 of them!!
The base is a Nestabilities circle - not the biggest shape but the next one down. The scalloped red mat and the smaller white circle are also Nesties.
The holly leaves are cut with a Whiff of Joy die, using pearlised green card. I wish I knew where it came from - it's what was left over a couple of years ago when we cut out a mahoosive Prayer Tree at Sunday School, and now I'm running out!
The berries are white card candi coloured with a CT4 Spectrum Noir. I then put some Glossy Accents on top and sprinkled with Glamour Dust.
The ties are all recycled from articles of clothing! I just glued the ends to the largest circle and covered them with the scallops to hide them. Simples!
Do hop across to have a look at my teamies' inspiring work and remember, even if you can't manage to make a card before Christmas, you can always make a start on next year's!!
I'm entering Pixie's Crafty Snippets Challenge 50 since everything except the berries has been made from snippets yee-haw!
Thanks for looking! Stay warm!

Great little tags .. .. the girls did circular ones yesterday.
You asked what I had used to cut my labels. It is a Sizzix Die which I haven't been able to find after searching for it for ages for a crafty little fried last year.
I will let you have the number though so that you can have a little search yourself in case anyone is parting with one.

I found the number of the die for you.
It is an old Sizzix Originals and the number is 654680.
Hope you manage to find one.
Have a lovely day and stay warm.
