Lace/Ribbon, Pink, Embossing.... and....

Yesterday I posted my DT card for Dream Valley which follows a Bingo card. You take ONE line, vertically, horizontally or diagonally, and that determines what you use on your card. Click on the pic to get a clearer view.

Now here is the first card I made for the Challenge, using Bookworm Fairy by Hannah Lynn for Crafts and Me who are one of our sponsors. I thought I'd go with lace/ribbon, pink and embossing.

So what is it about this card that would have made it ineligible if I'd entered the Challenge? There's EMBOSSING on PINK Centura Pearl cardstock, the image is mostly PINK and there is a row of LACE and RIBBON at the bottom. The sentiment is EMBOSSED, too.

But.... the image has been DIE CUT with a Spellbinders Majestic Labels Eight DIE. There are PEARLS added. And there's a panel of PATTERNED PAPER from Lili of the Valley

I must have been away with the fairies when making this card, because I've used too many of the items on the Bingo grid! Though I did enjoy making it, and the fairy's wings have a pretty shimmer from a clear Wink of Stella pen. All's well that ends well, though, I made another card that was a proper fit for the Challenge. I also have this to send as a birthday card to a particular person, too!!

And the moral of that tale is: check and check your Challenges again!

Thanks for looking!

Whether you have used too many or not, this is beautiful and will be much appreciated I'm sure.

I'd always thought that as long as you completed one line it didn't matter what other elements were included? Either way, it's a stunning card, definitely pretty in pink :)
Stunning hun, love the embossed backing & the image is fabulous
