In the Spotlight!

I came across a blog for beginning carders at Crafty Cardmakers which has a tutorial on Spotlight cards which look very intriguing.

I made this for the two lovely ladies at my local Art and Craft shop, which is closing today. The latest rent increase was too much for them, so they're going online. Anyway, the stamp, ribbon, circle punch and card are from their shop, the bp is from an old magazine (yes, I'm using up stash!) and the flower is Prima, also from stash.

I used felt tips to colour the circle which is why the colours are so bright and cartoony!

I do like this little mouse, he's so easy to decoupage, too. It's by Funstamps 'Monty's Pot of Violets.'

Where has the sun gone? It's so gloomy today, I put the lights on at lunchtime!

Thanks for looking.

luv, Mags x

Hi Mags

Wow you have been busy .. I seem to have missed a couple of posts and yet it feels like 2 minutes since I was last here.

You have made some lovely creations this week.

I had to put my light on late afternoon too .. .. what is that all about?!?!? LOL!!!

So glad you found our site, we have a great new challenge coming up as well & hope to see you join in ! This is the cutest card ever. Too bad about the rent, but the online community is very friendly as well. You could get this card in the Creative Inspirations Challlenge as well for recycling the mag bp. Thanks for joining us at Crafty Cardmakers for the spotlight on spotlight challenge.
