Good morning! We have a new challenge at CRAFT Challenge which is to Add Ribbon and Sparkle I have used a gorgeous image by Nikki Brnette, this is Rose Unfortunately the photo isn't very good, but I used Magenta Stickles on all the roses, and a lot of Sparkle Shimmer Spritz by Imagine Crafts on the flowers. The papers are from Floral Pavilion by First Edition, they are glossy, and so pretty! The dazzler on the bow is by Papermania. The ribbon is from stash. Good morning! It's Monday already - where did the weekend go? To cheer you up we have a new challenge at Dream Valley and our theme is Vintage A great excuse to go overboard with lace, flowers, distressing and pretty papers! Our sponsor is the amazing Crafty Ribons Here is my card: My background paper is from an 8 x 8 'Floral Pavilion' pad by First Edition, and I distressed the edges of the paper and the card base with Vintage Photo. The sentiment is from a very old Penny Black sentiment set and says 'Happiness is time spent with a Friend.' I had the oval frame in my stash, it was rather brash white plastic so I dabbed Cranberry and Terracotta Alcohol Inks by Ranger onto it. The shape behind is cut with a Spellbinders die from the 5 x 7 Heirloom Legacy set, and it is also distressed with Vintage Photo. The vine is cut with a Spellbinders Floral Bundle die, the flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts and the lace and gem swirls are from stash. 'Vi...

This time of year can be so tough for those of us who have lost their Mums, so this week at CRAFT Challenge our theme is Mother's Day OR Female Our lovely sponsors: Lacy Sunshine Crafty Ribbons My card uses the adorable Lil Fidget by Lacy Sunshine, I saw the image last year and had to buy it at once! Soooo cute!! I coloured her in Copics and added purple stickles to the flowers in her hair and Wink of Stella Clear over her wings. The papers are First Edition's Floral Pavilion , the square piece is actually canvas and has a wonderful texture. The flourish is made with Cheery Lynn's Mini Fanciful Flourish die . The flowers are by Prima, and the heart brads are from stash. The chipboard sentiment heart was a magazine freebie a long time ago! Hi, guys! I hope you're all having a good weekend! At My Time to Craft this fortnight we would like to see Easel Cards . Here is a link to Christina Griffith's instructions on how to make one, and also some variations. She also has a video. I made a 'twisted' or 'skewed' easel - they look very impressive but they are actually quite easy! I used a Sarah Kay image from Stampavie - sadly, the firm has closed down, because of what Bev Rochester calls 'epic piracy. So sad. I coloured her with Copics and added Glossy Accents to her watering can. The image is die cut with a My Favorite Things Die-namics stitched oval die, and I distressed the edges with Broken China. The 'Thanks' die-cut is by Clearly Besotted and I added Glamour Dust for sparkle. The papers are First Edition Floral Pavilion. The stopper is a LotV sentiment, raised on foam pads.
