Twins! And a warning about a computer scam.

Evening, all! I've spent most of half term tidying, cleaning and chucking things out - whatever happened to my plans for several days' intensive crafting?! Alas, they went the way of all flesh! However, I have managed to make birthday cards for twins who will be two next week - and a right mischievous pair they are!

I used these cute Lili of the Valley stamps, they are perfect for toddlers! The banners are also LotV. I coloured both with Promarkers. In this one, the wheels of the toy are Glossy Accented, and the stars in the paper have been stickled. I used a Go Kreate Frilly Square #6 die to cut out the image and emboss it with Excalibur (my gorgeous Grand Caliber machine) and distressed all the edges and papers with Salty Ocean Distress Ink.

For this one, I used a Spellbinders Heart Circles die and distressed with Worn Lipstick but left the papers undistressed because they're more contrasting. The pram has been Glossy Accented. Who else had a toy pram like that with a folding hood? I suppose the kids all play with toy modern buggies now!

The papers are DOCrafts Tatty Teddy, from a pad free with a magazine this year. The shiny stickers are by Paperchase.

I'm entering the Friday Sketch Challenge - though I turned it round by 90 degrees. This is such a good sketch, I really like it!

Before I go I must WARN you all about a COMPUTER SCAM! I got a phonecall from a 'Mr John Murphy' who had a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent, claiming that something was wrong with 'the software-hardware interface' of my PC. I did my ditsy middle-aged trout impersonation and begged him to hold on while I booted up the machine.

Instead I called the police. All they could do was advise me to spread the word - give these people any info and they can steal your identity details from your computer and STEAL ALL YOUR MONEY! Even if they claim to be from Microsoft, they are lying.

I kept this person hanging on for 5 minutes, I hope he was calling from the Sub-Continent and it cost him a lot of money!

Please spread the word, especially among your older friends and family who may not realise it's a fake.

Phew! What a long post! Thanks very much for looking, and have a fab weekend!

love Mags B x

Hi Mags, love the cute boy and girl twin cards. I had that scam about 6 months ago, trying to take control of my pc. They are the lowest of the low, If someone comes on the phone trying to sell me anything now, the phone is slamed down.
