My Time to Craft Christmas! #9 DL/Slimline.

 Hi there! I hope you're all looking forward to a good weekend! We have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft Christmas which is to make a DL or Slimline card. Otherwise known as 'Tall and Skinny!' (I wish that described me, too!!!) 

I have used a beautiful image by Francoise Reade for Woodware Stamps, this is Patchwork Angel.

I heat-embossed the image and sentiment in gold, and layered it with a gold-coloured tone-on-tone paper.  She is so elegant that this simple treatment worked better than my first idea of using Copics!

Slimline cards are very on trend at the moment, have a go! My teamies have left some wonderful work on the Challenge blog to spark your ideas.

Good evening, all! Well, it's meant to be Spring now, but it's sooo cold, and more snow is forecast for next week! Little Girls Tea Time

Good evening, all! I hope you're all keeping well! Brrr, it has been so cold and damp and windy today, more like October than May! Do I not like this weather!! I hope the rain stays away tomorrow, when the First Test against New Zealand begins! Yes, it's cricket, huzza!!! But you're not here for me wittering about The Summer Game! Here's a card I made for a friend, using a Lili of the Valley ready-coloured image called Little Girls Tea Time isn't it cute? My friend and I often meet for a cuppa, and I'm rather sad as she will be moving away soon, so I hope this card reminds her of happy times. Mind, we are both considerably older than these little girlies, take a look: I made a joy fold card , and the blue bow is positioned so that it just about holds the flap closed. Dream Valley Challenge 45 - Anything Goes!

Good evening, all! I'm sorry this post is so late, we've had Internet problems, but my daughter is now home from a weekend away and she found the wire that had become unplugged! Next week we're going to buy a new Router - exciting times!! Just as exciting is our latest challenge at Dream Valley which is the perennial favourite Anything Goes Our sponsor is Joanna Sheen who is offering a £10 voucher to spend at her online shop. Isn't that a fab prize?! Her shop sells Crafter's Companion gear, inclucing the cute 'Humphrey' stamps and Spectrum Noir pens, so that is what I used. This sweet image is called 'Flowers for You'.
