Bring me sunshine!
I hope you're all enjoying a peaceful Sunday. We have sunshine!
I haven't made any Iris fold cards for a long while, so I thought I'd use up some yellow scraps and make a sun. I die-cut the circle in a square of card and used a pattern from this book. The yellow frame and the holographic card are also from the scraps box.
I also decorated the inside:
The brown birds are cut out from one of the scraps of paper I used for the sun.
I'm going to enter this into Jules's Snippet Challenge. I didn't use quite as much paper as I hoped - and now of course I've got lots of narrow strips instead of half-cut sheets!
Thanks for looking!

What a fab way to use snippets. The yellow is so bright and cheerful, and the inside perfect.

A fabulous snippet card .. .. it must have used up a fair few snippets and a fair few minutes doing all the folding and sticking too!!!
I know what you mean about being left with just smaller snippets .. .. that is why I have started to cut shapes from the smaller pieces (flowers, stars, leaves etc). It certainly speeds up the cardmaking process at a later stage too.
This looks great and I love the birds on the inside too.
Thank you for sharing your lovely snippet make.
