The Squirrel and the Fox DT #26 Anthing Goes

Hiya! I'm back from a wonderful, sunny week in the Lake District! It's a lovely place for a holiday, we had some great walks and great beer - beer always tastes good when you've spent some hours tramping across the countryside!

Anyway, here's my card for the next challenge at The Squirrel and the Fox and this time the theme is 'Anything Goes'. Our lovely sponsor is Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and one lucky person will win 5 of their stamps!

I apologise for the blurry picture, I had to take it in a hurry so I could get it to the recipient on time!

This card is for a friend who has just celebrated her 40th wedding anniversary. Her sight is poor, so I needed to make something with a lot of contrast. The background is white card embossed with two Cuttlebug folders, matted onto red card. The Martha Stewart hearts are punched from the same red card and stickled. The glittery ribbon is from stash, and so are the two hatpins.

The sentiment is Lili of the Valley and is also matted on the red card.

The Robyn's Fetish image is coloured in Promarkers and the hearts are covered with Liquid Pearls.

Do go across to the Suirrel and the Fox challenge blog and have a look at the lovely work my teamis have done!

Thanks for looking!

And thanks, too, for your lovely comments, I really appreciate them!

love Mags B x

Promarkers: Tulip Yellow, Gold; Lush Green, Pine

Hi Mags

So pleased you had a good time away.

My youngest Son went to the Lake District for a few days after the Bank Holiday and had a lovely time.

Good news that the sun made an appearance for you.

Great anniversary card. Found the heart(s) and love the stick pins very much.

Have a good Sunday.

Love Jules xx

Glad you had a nice break, the weather seemed as if it was kind to you which always helps.

Lovely anniversary card Mags and you have obviously put a lot of thought into it. Great idea to put bright contrasting colours to help with your friends poor vision.

Will pop over to the challenge tomorrow hopefully with a make :)

Have a lovely Sunday xxx
