The Squirrel and the Fox #41 Inspired by a Song or Movie
Good morning! I hope you're all having a relaxing weekend!
It's time for another Challenge at The Squirrel and the Fox and our theme is Inspired by a Song or a Movie Neat challenge, isn't it?!
Our sponsor is The Paper Shelter and the DT were generously given images to play with. I fell for this cutie immediately!
There was only one song (and movie!) that sprang to mind - '9 to 5'! I love that film! The girlie's hair made me think at once of Dolly Parton! In fact, she also reminds me of my Vicar's wife, who is also Church Administrator, so I also know who will be the recipient of this card!
Well, it's nice to send someone a random card to make them smile!
The gorgeous papers are 'Paris Girl' by Carta Bella, isn't that pink fabulous?! I cut the circular mat with a Spellbinders Picot Circle die. I coloured her with Promarkers and Glossy Accented the lid of her laptop and also her cute specs.
I used Kraft card from a Papermania pack for the note and the tag - the tag is LotV and I punched the note with an EK Success punch, then wrote the message.
The twine is from The Ribbon Girl, the paper clip is from my desk!!
Go over to The Squirrel and the Fox and have a look at my teamies' creations, then think of your favourite Song or Movie and join in the fun!
But please read the guidelines carefully, we've had a number of entrants that didn't match the requirements and had to be removed from the draw. It's such a shame, because I know how much hard work goes into making a card!
Take care, my lovelies, and thanks for looking!
love Mags B x
Promarkers: Mustard, Tulip Yellow, Buttercup; Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush, Baby Pink, Antique Pink; Rose Pink, Carmine, Magenta; Black, Ice Grey 5, 4; Tan, Putty; Cinnamon, Burnt Sienna; Ice Grey 2, 1
