Dream Valley DT Challenge #58 Sports - and a DT Call!

Hi, again! If you're looking for my DT card for The Squirrel and the Fox please scroll down to the post below. Ta.

I'm a bit late today, it's been a busy Sunday again, but I'm here at last with a card for Dream Valley. Our theme is Sports - nice and easy, and perhaps a chance to get your Father's Day cards sorted!

Our fab Sponsor is Di's Digi Stamps which used to be called 'Di's Digi Downloads' and one lucky winner will receive a $10 voucher to spend in the store! Go over there and have a look, there are some adorable, cute images there!

I admit I didn't use a Sponsor image this time. I had this dynamic Karate Kick Girl from Redonkadoodles - formerly known as Redonkulous. I coloured her with Promarkers: I, like so many, am indebted to Kimberly Brown who posts wonderful videos on Youtube, and I used her recommended colour combo for the hair, I really like it!

Isn't she fab? I used a Spellbinders Wonky Rectangle to cut her out. The papers, ribbon and gems are from stash. The scallopped edge is made with an EK Success Edger Punch.

The papers are both, I think, Pink Petticoat, the sentiment is by The Greeting Farm and it's stamped in Dusty Concord Distress Ink.

Go across and see the kick-ass creations of my Teamies, and then have a go! You gotta be in it to win it! (Says she who doesn't gamble, not even on the Lottery lol!) It doesn't have to be a card, either, as long as the Sporting Theme is prominent!!

There's also a separate post on the Blog if you want to put your name forward to join the DT! If you've been wondering about joining a DT, do give us a go, we're a mix of experienced carders and newcomers, and it's not scary at all!!!

Challenges I'm entering:

Sketch and Stash provided the fab sketch! I included the optional ribbon but not the lace (it didn't look right!!) Everythin I used is old apart from the gems which I bought a couple of months ago!

Have a good week, everyone, and thanks for looking!

love Mags B x

Promarkers: Cocoa, Raw Sienna, Mustard, Buttercup; Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush, Baby Pink, Cocktail Pink; Cool Grey 3, 1
