Full of Eastern promise!
Good evening, all! I hope you're having a good week. Does anyone else remember the advert for 'Fry's Turkish Delight - full of Eastern promise'? It's a slab of not-very-authentic Turkish Delight covered in milk chocolate. I used to love the stuff when I was young, but when I grew older it seemed soooo sickly-sweet!
We have had work done on our roof, and hopefully that will be finished tomorrow - IF the rain stays away! What with one thing and another (making tea for the builders and DT work) I've only managed to complete one card to share this last week, but I'm rather pleased with it!
The delicious image is Arabian Spell from The Paper Shelter. Isn't she elegant??? i wish I had that figure lol!
The papers are by K & Co 'Sparkly Sweet' pad, the pastel colours are lovely! I used a fair amount of Spellbinders: Labels Five for the image mat, and Floral Doily Motifs for the long die-cut strip. The die-cut along the top of the horizontal strip is the 'negative' left after I used the die: I rather like the effect. I used Magenta Stickles along the bottom die-cut.
The sentiment is LotV. The gorgeous silky ribbon is from Hobbycraft, as is the gemmed flourish in the corner. The flowers are from wild Orchid Crafts, and I used a Woodware punch for the leaves peeping out behind.
I have to apologise - I've lost the list of Promarkers! Honestly, though, my craft hovel is in such a state, I wouldn't be surprised to find a baby elephant hidden in there!!!!!
Ok, I'm off to visit you, supposing that mr Blogger allows it: has anyone else been told recently that you follow no blogs? Or am I especially honoured like that???!!
Take care, and thanks so much for visiting!

I think I can hear the belly dance music in the background.....
I have had the same messages from blogger over the last 3 or 4 months. I just sign out and back in again and it usually clears it!
A beautifully put together card Mags and so many stunning details. I too wish I had her figure. Love the colours.
Enjoy the rest of your week.
Hugs Sharon. x
You are not alone Mags. I am constantly having to refresh as I am told I am following no blogs.
