The Squirrel and the Fox Challenge #70 - Part 2
Good morning, my lovelies! I hope all is well with you!
At The Squirrel and the Fox we are halfway through our extended Challenge, Let's Hear It For The Girls
Our wonderful sponsor is Make It Crafty and there are TWO chances to win! You can link a creation in the usual way, but if you use a Make it Crafty item, you'll get another entry free, gratis, and for nothing! And when you consider that the prize is a $10AUD voucher for the store, and a second voucher for using a MiC image, you'll agree that it's not to be sneezed at!!
Both cards I've made for this Challenge are intended for twins who have a birthday soon. This glamorous lady is Christine Soprano and she was a delight to colour! MiC images always look daunting at first, I think, but they are so cleverly drawn that it's quite easy to see where to shade.
I added stickles to the feathers on her mask and choker, and fussy cut her out and mounted her on foam pads.
I used Spellbinders Elegant Labels Four and the largest plain Labels Four to cut my layers. The card is White Centura Pearl and gold spotted pink card, both from Craft Creations The swirls are cut from brown cardstock with a Cheery Lynn Mini Flourish Die, and the leaves are made with a Woodware Punch. There is also a pearl in each corner. The flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts - they are all either creamy-brown or pink, but in the photo some look blue because of the shadow. Sorry!
I blame the camerawoman.
Has anyone read a fantastic book called Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith? It's one of my top 10 books ever! If you haven't read it, look out for it here on Kindle or here as a book
If you have read it: last week's card depicted Tamara; this week's depicts Fialma!
Thanks very much for looking, and have a lovely day!
