My Time to Craft #342 Woodland Animals or Easter.

Hiya, lads and lasses! It's a glorious sunny day here in S-E Hertfordshire, Spring has well and truly sprung!

Easter is approaching fast, but of course not everyone celebrates it, so at My Time to Craft we have two themes to choose from: Woodland Animals or Easter.

I made an Easter card, using die-cuts.


The Tattered Lace Small Cross Die was cut from white card and glued directly onto some gorgeous textured paper by First Edition. It's from a pad called 'Spring Drop' which is sadly out of print. The oval was glued directly onto white card cut with a Spellbinders' Elegant Ovals That is raised on foam pads. I did the same with the next layer, too.

Finally I added 5 tiny green gems and rounded the top corner.  I really need to get out my dies more often!

So elegant, both the lovely cross and the wonderful ovals which set it off. Love that you've done the card in the soft pinks...also like the dp design which complements the shapes of the ovals. TFS

Hi, guys! We have a new challenge at Dream Valley and it's to use yellow and black on your project. Our sponsor is the gorgeous All Dressed Up and Wendy kindly gave us a couple of her adorable images to use. I chose Magical Woodland it is so cute. The background is made with the Honeybee layering die set from Birch Press, and I used up scraps of orange, black and yellow card forthe die-cutting. My Time to Craft! #390 Men Only

Hi, guys! I hope you're all keeping well! We have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is Men Only. Yep, we're asking for those tricky cards for the Blokes! I have made a card for a boy. This is Fenton Frog by Sweet'n'Sassy stamps, he is so cute! ALL the papers and card (except the card base were made with Snippets from the scrap drawer! The sentiment came with the image and I cut it out and layered it onto a folded banner die-cut by Simon Says Stamp, using a scrap of green glittery card. I added green Nuvo Drops as an embellishment as well as two tiny green hearts on the banner. I am determined to make a real effort to use up snippets this year!! My Time to Craft #386 More Than One Fold - but not an easel!!

Hello, my lovelies! I hope you're all keeping well and keeping on top of all the Chrimbo shenanigans! To take your mind off things we have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is More Than One Fold But No Easels! I don't know about you, but an easel card is my default for more than one fold, so I was a bit anxious about this one. However, in the nick of time Jennifer McGuire posted a video on how to make a Double Z-fold card which fits the bill! This is the outside, which looks like an ordinary Z-fold, but when you open it..... I used a printed ready-made card base and stamped and embossed an old Hero Arts stamp across the internal section, masking areas for the sentiments. I coloured the flowers with Zig brush markers. The sentiments are stamped with gold Delicata ink. This was made for a birthday at the end of October, I am pleased to say that the recipient liked it!
