The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge #83 Anything Christmas Goes.

 

Hello, my loves! There is a new Challenge at The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge so now is a great time to add to your stockpile of Christmas cards! The Big Day will be here sooner than we think! 

For my card I used an older collection from Hunkydory Crafts - I have collected quite a few of these over the years, and it's high time I used them up!
I had a go at another slimline card, this one is 3.5" by 7.5". The background has a very subtle blue stripe, and a spray of snowflakes on the left.  I layered it onto gold mirri card for some festive bling!

The gold-edged images and the striped strip came from the kit, and I added 5 star sequins from my stash. The text is the first verse of 'We Three Kings.'

Hi, guys! We have a new challenge at Dream Valley and it's to use yellow and black on your project. Our sponsor is the gorgeous All Dressed Up and Wendy kindly gave us a couple of her adorable images to use. I chose Magical Woodland it is so cute. The background is made with the Honeybee layering die set from Birch Press, and I used up scraps of orange, black and yellow card forthe die-cutting. The die-cut sentiment uses a Love from Lizi die and a snippet of black glitter cardstock. Have a look of my teamies' creations, they have made some very pretty cards! My Time to Craft! #390 Men Only

Hi, guys! I hope you're all keeping well! We have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is Men Only. Yep, we're asking for those tricky cards for the Blokes! I have made a card for a boy. This is Fenton Frog by Sweet'n'Sassy stamps, he is so cute! ALL the papers and card (except the card base were made with Snippets from the scrap drawer! The sentiment came with the image and I cut it out and layered it onto a folded banner die-cut by Simon Says Stamp, using a scrap of green glittery card. I added green Nuvo Drops as an embellishment as well as two tiny green hearts on the banner. I am determined to make a real effort to use up snippets this year!! My Time to Craft #386 More Than One Fold - but not an easel!!

Hello, my lovelies! I hope you're all keeping well and keeping on top of all the Chrimbo shenanigans! To take your mind off things we have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is More Than One Fold But No Easels! I don't know about you, but an easel card is my default for more than one fold, so I was a bit anxious about this one. However, in the nick of time Jennifer McGuire posted a video on how to make a Double Z-fold card which fits the bill! This is the outside, which looks like an ordinary Z-fold, but when you open it..... I used a printed ready-made card base and stamped and embossed an old Hero Arts stamp across the internal section, masking areas for the sentiments. I coloured the flowers with Zig brush markers. The sentiments are stamped with gold Delicata ink. This was made for a birthday at the end of October, I am pleased to say that the recipient liked it!
