My Time to Craft Christmas #10 Fairy Lights.

 Hello, my dearios! It is such a cold, wet, windy day today in S-E Hertfordshire, more like November than May! A good day to snuggle in the craft hovel with a big mug of tea and make a Christmas card!

Yes, we have another Challenge at My Time to Craft Christmas! and this time our theme is Fairy Lights - also known as Christmas lights! 

I have used a funny image from a Tim Holtz/Simon Says Stamp set that came out last September. Unfortunately it was a Limited Edition, so is no longer available as far as I can see.

I used scraps of paper from the Snippets Drawer - both these came from an old Lili of the Valley Christmas pad.  I used Love From Lizi green glitter peel-offs to edge the vertical strip, and the green layers are made with pearlescent card.  The sentiment reads: 'Have you learned nothing from last year's tree?'

I finished by adding Glossy Accents to the lights and Nuvo Drops around the image.

3 Kings card for my Church

 Hi, guys! My Church has recently introduced a system whereby, instead of sending individual cards to each other, we all sign one BIG card to wish us Compliments of the Season! This year I was asked to make the card - it is A4 and I used some old backing card and images from  Hunkydory Crafts . I layered the patterned card background onto gold mirri card and the images are popped up on foam tape.  (Sorry about the glare from the gold background!) In the right bottom corner is a sentiment die-cut from the same set, wishing Festive greetings. The card base is a piece of thin A3 card folded in half to make an A4 base, I added a white card layer on the inside to balance the cardstock glued to the front, otherwise it had a tendency to fall over! It took quite a while to measure where the images should go so that they were even! My Time to Craft! #390 Men Only

Hi, guys! I hope you're all keeping well! We have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is Men Only. Yep, we're asking for those tricky cards for the Blokes! I have made a card for a boy. This is Fenton Frog by Sweet'n'Sassy stamps, he is so cute! ALL the papers and card (except the card base were made with Snippets from the scrap drawer! The sentiment came with the image and I cut it out and layered it onto a folded banner die-cut by Simon Says Stamp, using a scrap of green glittery card. I added green Nuvo Drops as an embellishment as well as two tiny green hearts on the banner. I am determined to make a real effort to use up snippets this year!! Gorjuss Card for a Gorjuss Girl!

Hi, guys, from a grey and chilly S-E Hertfordshire! My daughter-in-law loves the Santoro Gorjuss range, and luckily I have a few Gorjuss stamps, so I combined my favourite with some glittery, shiny snippets for her card this year. I coloured the image with Copics and added a flower sequin over the skull ornament in her hair. I fussy-cut her, then layered her onto a circle distressed with Spun Sugar DI. The sentiment is cut with a Love from Lizi birthday die from shiny pink paper that was originally a card base. Yes! I'm using stuff up!! Ok, back to yet another Grand Tidy-Up of ye olde craft hovel.
