Another post!!
Yes, it's me again! After the shenanigans on Tuesday with the power cut I was looking forward to some quiet crafting time yesterday - and the washing machine decided to die! We've had it for seven years and it's been used daily, so it has served us well - but I was not happy when it flooded my kitchen floor! On the plus side, my kitchen floor is clean and sparkly. On the minus side, I had to haul sopping wett clothes to the bath and get rid of the water the old-fashioned way.
Reader, I trampled them. It's a bit like crushing grapes for wine, without the delicious alcoholic result.
After that I spent the evening with my Kindle. If any of you like Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy/ Vampires, try Karen Chance's books. Sexy vampires, kick-bottom heroines, and a fair dose of slapstick humour, too! Amazon has an anthology of the first 4 books of the 'Cassie Palmer' series in their Kindle store. The first book in the series is 'Touch the Dark.'
But you're not here for that! Here's the card I should have posted yesterday. Apologies for the wonky pic!
The flower tiles are from an old set by Stampendous, called 'Flower Box Set.' I have had it so long that the acrylic has turned yellow! I used Flexmarkers (and one Promarker!) this time. I cut out each framed flower and the sentiment, and stuck them on the brown card which is is by Papermania and is both textured and pearlised, it's very pretty!
Ribbons are from Hobbycraft, and pearls are from stash. The sentiment is from the same Stampendous set.
Challenges:
Fab'n'Funky Challenges want 'Pink, Green and Brown.'
The Sketch File provided the lovely, simple sketch, which I know I'll be using again!
Less is More says 'Frame It!' Each of the little images is framed, I hope that counts ;)
Thanks for looking (again!) My son is popping up for the weekend, so I probably won't have much time to craft, but I'll see you on Sunday with 2 DT posts! Take care!
