The Squirrel and the Fox #60 Anything Goes!

Good morning! I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas! I spent a morning with the Flower Arranging team decorating the Church - I love flower arranging, though this year the holly we used was very beautiful but had lethal prickles, 'as sharp as any thorn'! Then we had a fun Christingle on Christmas Eve, and on Christmas Day we sang all my favourite Christmas hymns! My daughter's Young Man came over from Dublin to spend the holiday with us, which has been lovely!

And now it's time for another Challenge at The Squirrel and the Fox. our last Challenge for 2013 is everyone's favourite - Anything Goes.

Our sponsor is the cute and quirky Sweet'n'Sassy Stamps who will reward one winner with 3 digis from the store! Not bad, eh?!

I used this adorable Fenton Frog digi, which comes with the sentiment 'Oh hoppy day!' (lol!) And it isn't a Christmas card!!!!!

I printed out Fenton 3 times, then printed him larger and cut out the 'hoppy' from the sentiment. i coloured him with Promarkers. The yellow card is a snippet, I used a Spellbinders Scallopped Circle die to cut the 3 mats. The paper is from the LotV/Nitwits Perfect Pair paper pad (try saying that 3 times without spluttering!!) So pretty!

The 'birthday' is die-cut with a Memory Box Classic Lower Case Alphabet set. I distressed all the yellow card with Antique Linen DI to tone down the bright yellow card a bit!

Et voila! I hope you'll hoppity-hop over to The Squirrel and the Fox with your Anything Goes creations - it's a chance to show off any goodies you got for Christmas!!

Ribbit!

love Mags B x

Promarkers: Bright Green, Marsh Green, Lime Green, Lime Zest

Hi Mags, and thanks for your visit today. Gosh, I'm so happy you had a fine Christmas and got to spend it with those you love. That's the best blessing especially for this particular holiday. I just love Fenton. (My DH is a frog nut). I really admire the layout you chose to highlight Fenton, showed him off wonderfully well, and adding the scalloped SB really set him off. Good luck in the challenge. Looking forward to seeing lots of goodness here in 2014, and wish you a very Happy New Year. TFS & Hugs
