Dream Valley Challenge 3 DT card and Sunday Sketch and Stamp

Good afternoon! It's time for another Dream Valley Challenge which for this fortnight is 'Mother's Day.' You don't have to make a card, just go where your fancy takes you as long as it fits the theme.

We have a prize of $10 (Canadian) from Digis With Attitude.

Digi’s With Attitude! is a Digital Stamp Company that brings Sass & Attitude to your stamping projects!
Meet the newest Attitude’s in town!
’Grumpy Gretchen’ is a sure beauty with sexy curves and very unique facial features.
Her hairstyles constantly change, as does her clothing and element she is in.
She is sassy and isn't afraid to show it! Everyone loves Grumpy Gretchen. We know you will too!
You can now meet the new Animals With Attitude! too! They are in the store and ready for you to adopt them.
All images are 300 dpi and come in both JPEG & PNG instant downloads

Go and have a look, they have some very cute and fun images!

Ok, on to my card! I recently bought he Sarah Kay cutie from Diesa to Die For and I love her so much! My Mum was a very good gardener, but unfortunately I've inherited precisely none of her talents! I have to stick with papercraft flowers instead!

The sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp and it's a corker! The papers are DCWV (the Text paper) and Papermania Honey and Hugs. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts. I distressed and stickled all the edges, and covered the watering can with Glossy Accents. I used round stickers in the top left and bottom right corners.

Here's a side view. You may notice that the strip of flowered paper used as a stop matches the pattern on the card top - I wish I could say that was the result of lots of thought and careful measurement, but I didn't even notice till after I took the pics!!

Do pop over to the Dream Valley blog and see the fantastic creations by my fellow teamies, and I do hope you'll join the fun this fortnight!

Okiedokie, time to scrub the kitchen floor. That's the trouble with sunshine coming through the window, it shows up all the grubby corners!

Thanks for looking!

luv, Mags x

Promarkers: Blush, Dusky Pink, Pastel Pink; Ivory, Buttercup, Canary, Mustard; Leaf Green, Lush Green; China Blue, Blue Pearl, Powder Blue.

This is gorgeous. What a clever accident with the matching paper strip. Bet you couldn't do that again if you tried.
