My Time to Craft #480 Fences, hedges, walls or other outdoor property markings.

Hiya! We have a challenging Challenge at My Time to Craft but it's actually easier than it sounds! Think of how your garden is marked out - maybe it's a trellis supporting climbing plants, or a stone wall or a fence or a hedge or maybe there's an arch shading the path to your front door.  Or maybe there's a field nearby full of horses or cows that's surrounded by a wood or wire fence.  Any of those can be inspirational, whether for a scene with animals or a row of flowers.

I admit, it took me a lot of thought, but I have one stamp that shows a fence and one die that cuts one.  The first card is naturalistic, using a Penny Black stamp of a winter scene.

I used a Kaleidoscope ink pad in various shades of blue which is darker at one end and lighter at the other.  Blending inks directly on the stamp would give the same effect.  You can just see the line of the fence between the groups of trees.  The sentiment is by Taylored Expressions.

The second card is more like a cartoon or graphic illustration.

The stamp is 'Tall Flowers' by Hero Arts and it's very old.  I coloured the flowers with Copics and added Nuvo drops in the centre of each bloom.  For the die-cut fence I stamped a woodgrain background stamp over some dull gold pearlised card.  The grass is cut with a Lawn Fawn die and the sentiment is also by Taylored Expression.  The mat is the same dull gold card as the fence.

If you are stuck for ideas, go see what my teamies have done, as usual they have been very inventive.

Thanks for looking and stay well!

Terrific cards, Mags!! Thanks again for doing two projects to help give our readers more options with the theme! It's great that you took time to go through your stash to find the fence die and the wintery tree with fence scene stamp. Kudos!
