The Elephant's Child in blue and green!

Evening all! Don't get too close, I have a filthy cold! The only things I managed to do today were order pizza and make this card!


It's for my daughter to send to a friend who has just had a little boy. The image my daughter chose was this Woodware Baby Patch Elephant The text is from the same set. I was going to paper-piece him, but when I stamped him on this scrap of Kanban card he looked good already!

The papers are from 'Lion Sleeps' a 12 x 12 pad by K and Co which is full of gorgeous papers for little 'uns!

The ribbon is from Hobbycraft, the gems and stars are from stash. I also used a Woodware punch to round the top corners of the image mat, and distressed with Faded Jeans Distress Ink.

I want to enter the challenges at 2 Sisters Challenge where I found the fabulous sketch!
And also Come and Get It Challenges - I used Green, Ribbon and Gems.

Hi, guys! We have a new challenge at Dream Valley and it's to use yellow and black on your project. Our sponsor is the gorgeous All Dressed Up and Wendy kindly gave us a couple of her adorable images to use. I chose Magical Woodland it is so cute. The background is made with the Honeybee layering die set from Birch Press, and I used up scraps of orange, black and yellow card forthe die-cutting. My Time to Craft! #390 Men Only

Hi, guys! I hope you're all keeping well! We have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is Men Only. Yep, we're asking for those tricky cards for the Blokes! I have made a card for a boy. This is Fenton Frog by Sweet'n'Sassy stamps, he is so cute! ALL the papers and card (except the card base were made with Snippets from the scrap drawer! The sentiment came with the image and I cut it out and layered it onto a folded banner die-cut by Simon Says Stamp, using a scrap of green glittery card. I added green Nuvo Drops as an embellishment as well as two tiny green hearts on the banner. I am determined to make a real effort to use up snippets this year!! My Time to Craft #386 More Than One Fold - but not an easel!!

Hello, my lovelies! I hope you're all keeping well and keeping on top of all the Chrimbo shenanigans! To take your mind off things we have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is More Than One Fold But No Easels! I don't know about you, but an easel card is my default for more than one fold, so I was a bit anxious about this one. However, in the nick of time Jennifer McGuire posted a video on how to make a Double Z-fold card which fits the bill! This is the outside, which looks like an ordinary Z-fold, but when you open it..... I used a printed ready-made card base and stamped and embossed an old Hero Arts stamp across the internal section, masking areas for the sentiments. I coloured the flowers with Zig brush markers. The sentiments are stamped with gold Delicata ink. This was made for a birthday at the end of October, I am pleased to say that the recipient liked it!
