Dream Valley Challenge 44 Glitter and Bling

Morning, all! I'm a bit early with my Dream Valley post this time because I'll soon be off to a family celebration for my Dad's 93rd birthday, and with the clocks going back wasn't sure if scheduling would work!

Our challenge is 'Glitter and Bling' - nice and bright now that the days are getting darker and colder. Winter is coming!


This fabulous lady is Pirate Penny from Sassy Studios who are sponsors for this challenge. Alucky winner can choose 4 of their gorgeous digis! I coloured her with Promarkers and turned the stones around the treasure chest into gold coins with dots of gold Liquid Pearls.

I stickled her feather and Glossy Accented her gorgeous boots.

The papers are Nitwits snippets. The gold card came from the new Pinflair shop in Hertford, cut with Nesties. The gold star came from there, too.

You can just make out the transparent sparkly ribbon underneat the purple velvet one.

Ooops, hubby growling it's time to go, will update tonight when I get back. Thanks for looking nd stay warm!

Hi, guys! We have a new challenge at Dream Valley and it's to use yellow and black on your project. Our sponsor is the gorgeous All Dressed Up and Wendy kindly gave us a couple of her adorable images to use. I chose Magical Woodland it is so cute. The background is made with the Honeybee layering die set from Birch Press, and I used up scraps of orange, black and yellow card forthe die-cutting. My Time to Craft! #390 Men Only

Hi, guys! I hope you're all keeping well! We have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is Men Only. Yep, we're asking for those tricky cards for the Blokes! I have made a card for a boy. This is Fenton Frog by Sweet'n'Sassy stamps, he is so cute! ALL the papers and card (except the card base were made with Snippets from the scrap drawer! The sentiment came with the image and I cut it out and layered it onto a folded banner die-cut by Simon Says Stamp, using a scrap of green glittery card. I added green Nuvo Drops as an embellishment as well as two tiny green hearts on the banner. I am determined to make a real effort to use up snippets this year!! My Time to Craft #386 More Than One Fold - but not an easel!!

Hello, my lovelies! I hope you're all keeping well and keeping on top of all the Chrimbo shenanigans! To take your mind off things we have a new Challenge at My Time to Craft! which is More Than One Fold But No Easels! I don't know about you, but an easel card is my default for more than one fold, so I was a bit anxious about this one. However, in the nick of time Jennifer McGuire posted a video on how to make a Double Z-fold card which fits the bill! This is the outside, which looks like an ordinary Z-fold, but when you open it..... I used a printed ready-made card base and stamped and embossed an old Hero Arts stamp across the internal section, masking areas for the sentiments. I coloured the flowers with Zig brush markers. The sentiments are stamped with gold Delicata ink. This was made for a birthday at the end of October, I am pleased to say that the recipient liked it!
